WEEKLY DRUMMING & CHANTING CIRCLE

Travel around the Medicine Wheel with different rhythms and sacred chants, to find healing, harmony and balance in our lives. Jana uses the ancient Mayan 20 count to show us the way to finding our own inner wisdom and connection to Great Spirit.

SING FOR JOY!

SATURDAY 20th March, 2-4pm

Come and learn how to sing and chant with Jana. This is a relaxed, fun class for everybody, whether or not you think you can sing! We'll learn some breathing techniques, interesting chants and some fab funky songs together... Guaranteed good fun!

SACRED JOURNEYS 2010

DAY WORKSHOPS AT SACRED SITES

1. Sunday 2^nd May – SACRED LOVE, DIVINE UNION – Starting the year with Sacred Ceremony in Avebury to honour and celebrate Beltane. Meeting at the Sanctuary for a group initiation, there will then be a beautiful celebration of the Sacred Marriage in the Solar and Lunar Circles at Avebury. 11am-5pm. Transport from Glastonbury (9.30am) or meet there at 11am. Cost: £50/£25.

2. Sunday 30^th May – STONEHENGE ANCESTOR CEREMONY 3pm-9pm – A sacred journey to explore the whole ancestral area around Stonehenge, including the ancient processional route to the stones. There will then be a special ancestor ceremony inside the stones in the evening. Transport from Glastonbury (1.30pm) or meet there at 3pm. Cost: £65/£40 (includes the cost of special access into the stones). Please send full workshop fee to ensure your place as soon as possible – limited numbers!

3. Sunday 25^th July – WHITE HORSE SPIRIT TRAILS 11am-6pm – A sacred journey to the Uffington White Horse to energize ourselves from the ancient spirit trails that are embedded in the landscape and to connect with the powerful ancestors of Wayland Smithy. Transport from Glastonbury (8.45) or meet there at 11am. Cost: £50/£25

4. Sunday 22^nd August – TEMPLE DRUM MEDICINE 1pm-6pm – Medicine Music Ceremony at Stanton Drew Stone Circles to experience the magical power of this ancient temple and to practice drum healings on the stones. Transport from Glastonbury (12pm) or meet there at 1pm. Cost: £40/£20.

5. Sunday 19^th September – BALANCING THE WORLDS 11am-6pm – A powerful equinox ceremony at West Kennet Longbarrow, Avebury Circles and Windmill Hill. We shall follow the energy of the Dragon Lines in the landscape with our drums, finding the inner balance and clarity that these powerful ancient sites embody. Transport from Glastonbury (9.30am) or meet there at 11am. Cost: £50/£25.

6. Sunday 31^st October – AVALON SAMHAIN CEREMONY 2pm-10pm – Experience the powerful energy of Samhain in Avalon – release our painful ancestral karmic patterns and call in the light energy of our Spirit Guides to actualize our personal and collective dreams. Includes the fire ceremony in the evening at Chalice Well Gardens. Cost: £60/£30. (Workshop venue to be decided).
