SACRED CHANTING
 Using your voice for sacred chanting has a profoundly healing and transformative effect - it can move us to a level of awareness beyond form, a place where we discover our own divinity. Different songs and chants have specific purposes for invoking or paying homage to spirit beings and deities. They create a vibratory resonance that allows these spirits to be called forth. Most chants are like mantras - phrases repeated over and over. The syllables of each spoken word resonate specific qualities of energy.

CHAKRA CHANTING
This new up-dated version of guided breathing exercises and toning through the chakras is a fabulous self-help guide to clearing and activating the energy centres in the body. Jana leads you through each chakra, track by track, with guided breathing instructions and a 'tone' or vowel sound for each energy centre. This is followed by a short piece of meditation music and then seven chants which start at the crown chakra and finish at the root.

SANSKRIT CHANTING
This album is a beautiful blend of Jana's voice, flute-playing and keyboard drones. It takes you on a meditation journey through the chakras, chanting to different Hindu Gods and Goddesses, including Ganesh, Saraswati, Tara, Hanuman and Shiva. It has a very dreamy quality to it which takes the listener deep into the magical world of Sanskrit chanting. It is, in a sense, a spiritual training tool, because it is an introduction to Sanskrit mantra chanting as a daily meditation practice. NATIVE AMERICAN CHANTING
 An album of beautiful Native American sacred chants, which reflect and celebrate our connection to the wheel of life. The Medicine Wheel is an ancient symbol of the totality of life, of cycles, seasons, elements and the four worlds of Grandmother Earth.
