ABOUT JANA

My name is Jana Runnalls - my ancestral roots are Celtic European and I have a strong soul connection with Native American spiritual teachings - I feel a powerful familiarity to that ancient tribal way of being. I come from a background of Pagan/Shamanic teachings which have given me a ceremonial grounding from which my sacred drumming springs.

My spiritual path is a multi-coloured weaving from different traditions: Deer Tribe Sundance Sweet Medicine Teachings, the Wiccan Craft and Buddhist Insight Meditation. I honour the Sacred Marriage in all aspects of my life, celebrating the eight

fire festivals, chanting daily Sanskrit mantras and meditation.

I live and work on the ancient Isle of Avalon - the sacred landscape of Glastonbury Tor in South-West England. I am part of a rich community of healers, musicians, dreamers, artists and visionaries. I write and sing chants for circles, ceremonies and celebrations, ensuring that the heartbeat it always pulsing throughout the gatherings.

I teach classes and workshops in both drumming and chanting and also practice drum healing as well as being available for drum ceremonies for special occasions. I see individuals who seek healing through chant and drum therapy.
